Why do we get ON a bus, but IN a
car?
Answer: When you get into a car, you’re getting directly into your seat. When you get on to a bus, you are walking on to it, then walking to your seat. Same with a plane, boat and train – you’re able to walk around in the space.

An article for a magazine:
Transport in Murcia
The tram
This is the quickest way to get aorund a big part of Murcia. There are
many tram stops. The cheapest way to use the tram in to get a bonotram. You put
money on it and then you top it up when you need to and then you use it every
time you get on it.
You can buy the bonotram at university and at shopping centres.
The tram is the most popular transport with students.
Buses
It’s the most comfortable public transport in the city. It isn’t very
expensive and it is very easy to take. There are many lanes which cross the
city. If you want to take them, you have two options: You wait at the bus stop
or you go to the bus station. Normally, the people pay with cash or use a
return ticket.
There are buses that operate all the day from the city centre there are
buses to all the town in the region.
Bikes
Hiring bikes isn’t popular in Murcia because there aren’t too many cycle
lanes and there aren’t many places to hire them. In addition, bikes are really
heavy and uncomfortable. Besides, they aren’t safe to move in town, although it’s
the healthiest public transport.
Taxis
Murcia’s white taxis are expensive. When you travel alone they are
comfortable and the taxi drivers know Murcia well. They can be quicker than
buses. You normally tell the driver where you want to go before you get in a
taxi.
Taxis are the safest way to travel.
